We’ve hinted for the past few months that a really exciting commercial project was in the works, and we cannot wait to finally reveal the Shop van De Vort collaboration with you today! Back in December, our friends over at North County Tile told us about a second Shop Van De Vort store opening at One Paseo. Not only does Shop Van De Vort carry stunning pieces of clothing and accessories, it was also started by mother and entrepreneur, Andrea Van De Vort. StoneImpressions was founded by mother and artist, Melinda Earl, so we love supporting other female-run businesses.
Once we found out the sisters at Design Four Corners were involved, our excitement grew even more. The picture above shows the preliminary inspiration they had for the space. After sourcing through a few of our patterned tiles, they settled on the modern yet simple Aurum pattern on 12×12 honed thassos.
The sisters at Design 4 Corners and owner Andrea Van De Vort, mixed bohemian patterns, textures, and modern colors to create a fresh, funky, yet timeless, vibe in the store. It’s the perfect space to shop, get fun content for social media, and spend time with your girlfriends. It’s hard to create a space that feels completely unique from other stores, but it’s safe to say that they designed something that is truly one-of-a-kind. From leopard-themed wallpaper to big black and white marble tiles, keep scrolling to see how this store all came together.
