&noscript=1 /> Kitchen Backsplash Ideas: the Sanza Collection - StoneImpressions

The Sanza Pattern from our in-stock collection has been out for a few years now, but it is still one of our most popular kitchen backsplash designs to date.  One of the reasons for its popularity is because of its versatility and ability to fit into any space.  Below you will see the Sanza tile in kitchens ranging from southern coastal to modern transitional.  We are constantly getting tagged in projects that features the Sanza collection, so we thought we should share several kitchen backsplash ideas utilizing this Moroccan-inspired tile!  If you’ve had your eye on this tile but have been unsure which colorway to get or how to use it in your kitchen, keep scrolling for some stunning examples.

1. Decorative Range Hood

This decorative range hood is brought to you by Orange County Design firm, Blackband Design.  Their clients opted for a plain kitchen backsplash using subway tile, but added the bold Sanza tile in Snowflake Blue on the outside of the range hood.  This is the perfect idea for someone who wants to keep their kitchen mostly neutral with just a splash of flair.

2. Large-Scale Kitchen Wall

The project below shows a great example of how to install a patterned tile as a full kitchen wall.  Diana Weinstein mixed contrasting colors, textures, and cabinetry effortlessly in this New Jersey kitchen.  While we love a classic white kitchen, there is nothing we appreciate more than a bold, one-of-a-kind space that doesn’t follow any design trends.

3.  Bold Backsplash Combined with Neutral Cabinetry

We love a kitchen centered around a bold, decorative tile.  In this case, Boston design firm, Bees Knees Interior Design, combined the colorful Sanza design in Snowfalke Blue with simple white cabinetry to let the backsplash serve as the focal point in the kitchen.  To add even more color, they seamlessly added in rich red chairs around the light blue island.

4. Simple Kitchen Backsplash

If you’re thinking that you need to cover all of the walls in your kitchen with tile to make an impact, the kitchen below disproves that theory.  The Sanza pattern perfectly compliments this timeless, coastal kitchen and gives it the right amount of simplicity and style.  Lisa Michael Interior Design designed this Southern kitchen using the Sanza pattern in Snowflake blue on 6×6 honed Carrara.

5. Half Wall

For the person who wants a substantial amount of patterned tile in their kitchen but doesn’t want to go full scale, try adding tile halfway up the wall like the kitchen below!  This is a smart way to stay under budget while making a lasting impression in your kitchen.
