The Del Rey

What we love about the Del Rey is that it’s the perfect amount of traditional and modern—it’s great for infusing an organic and natural style into your space.

Below, we are going to create mood boards centered around three different design styles (Modern Mediterranean, California Coastal, and Bohemian), so you can imagine the different possibilities for your next home renovation project!

1. Modern Mediterranean

The modern Mediterranean style is characterized by warm coastal color schemes and the use of natural materials that create a simplistic design with just a touch of boldness.

To create a marvelously Mediterranean room, we would style the Del Rey patterned tile in the Oyster colorway around timeless wall and floor coverings, like Limestone, and utilize exposed wood beams to make the space feel more rustic. To make the space complete, we’d add in a statement furniture piece in a bold blue to give it a Mediterranean feel!

2. California Coastal

Even if you don’t live in California, you can still appreciate the relaxed beauty of homes with a California Coastal vibe and style.

To make a space that feels coastally-inspired, we would select the Del Rey patterned tile in the Sea Blue colorway and would pair this tile with brass hardware in the kitchen and bathrooms. On top of that, we would also utilize sandy-colored Chevron wood flooring to create soothing and serene shapes that are reminiscent of a tropical resort. To really tie together the beachy feel, we’d feature blue and white striped rugs and furniture all over the home to make the coastal theme feel more cohesive.

3. Bohemian

Love the Boho interior design style? Then get ready for some playful colors and organic elements!

We think the Del Rey patterned tile in the Sand Castle colorway is the perfect addition to a Boho-inspired space because it pairs effortlessly with bright colors and organic elements. You can combine the Del Rey Tile with shades of Coral and light greens, rattan light fixtures around the house, and even whimsical wallpaper on your accent walls! Complete your Boho interior with plenty of lush plants and greenery that mimic the organic beauty of the Del Rey tile.
